AI Comparison Module for Vehicle Underbody Analysis

The AI Comparison Module is a solution based on Artificial Intelligence and advanced image analysis techniques, designed to perform automatic comparisons between vehicle underbody scans in order to detect possible modifications, anomalies, or suspicious objects.

The system uses computer vision algorithms and deep learning models to compare the current underbody scan with a previously recorded reference scan associated with the same vehicle license plate, enabling the rapid and accurate identification of any structural variation or element not present in earlier scans.

Operating Principle

As the vehicle passes through the inspection point, the system acquires a new high-definition image or scan of the underbody. The AI module then performs the following steps:

retrieves the reference scan previously associated with the vehicle’s license plate from the database;
performs intelligent image alignment to compensate for possible differences in position or angle;
applies comparative analysis and difference detection algorithms;
automatically highlights new objects, structural modifications, or anomalies compared to the previous configuration.

The results are displayed to the operator through a dedicated interface, allowing an immediate evaluation of the potential security risk.
