AI Detection Module for Video Analysis

The AI Detection Module is an advanced system based on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision algorithms, designed for the automatic analysis of images generated by video surveillance systems. The module enables the real-time identification of potentially dangerous or suspicious objects, supporting security monitoring and prevention activities.

Through deep learning models trained on extensive datasets, the system can recognize and classify several types of critical objects, including firearms, knives, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and other elements that may represent a threat to people, infrastructure, or operational vehicles.

operation

The module receives the video stream from the under-vehicle inspection camera and applies automated image analysis algorithms to:

detect suspicious objects within the scene;
compare visual characteristics with pre-trained recognition models;
generate automatic alerts when an object classified as potentially dangerous is detected.

The system is designed to maintain high performance even under non-ideal operating conditions, such as variable lighting, obstacles, or partially concealed objects. This is achieved through recognition techniques based on geometric features, contours, and visual patterns.

Main Features
Automatic detection of dangerous objects within video images.
Real-time analysis of video streams from multiple cameras.
Identification capability even with partial occlusions or different perspectives.
Automatic generation of alerts and notifications for operators or security management systems.
Recording of detected events for subsequent analysis and auditing.
Local Processing and Data Security

The module operates in a fully local mode (edge processing) and does not require an Internet connection. All analysis and detection operations are performed directly on the system’s processing unit, ensuring:

maximum protection of sensitive data,
reduced latency in alarm generation,
operational continuity even in environments without network connectivity.
